COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
1. First Steps Orientation (Pistol) is a four hour course including both classroom and range sessions
and is designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to safely own, handle and use your own pistol. This class meets training requirements for the Florida CWFL and is conducted periodically with no more than 3 students per instructor, so there is personal attention to each shooter. The fee for the class is $90, or $50 for those who bring their own pistol and ammunition (50 rounds).
2. First Steps Orientation (Rifle) this is also a four hour introductory course designe
d to introduce safe and effective rifle use. The class teaches you how to zero your rifle, adjust your sights, and is an introduction to effectively engaging targets at the distances for which your rifle and cartridge combination are designed, whether for hunting or other applications. Any type or caliber of rifle may be used for the course. The fee for this class is $90, or $50 if you bring your own rifle and ammunition (15-30 rounds). 'Platform specific' classes are occasionally offered for AR or AK type rifles.
3. First Steps Orientation (Shotgun) is designed to introduce safe and effective use of the shotgun for flying targets, although some practice on stationary targets can be included on request. Any type or guage of shotgun can be used for the course. The fee for this class is $90, or $50 if you bring your own shotgun and ammunition (50 rounds).
PRIVATE LESSONS: I will conduct PRIVATE TRAINING for individuals or small groups any time during the work week that is mutually agreeable. The cost is $100 per person or $75 per person if you bring your own firearm and ammunition.

4. if you're bringing your own pistol: manufacturer, model designation, type and caliber of the pistol you'll be using.
My response email will reserve you a place in that class, but it will be guaranteed only when payment is received. I accept payments using GunPal to my email address, blackjack@emailearth.net, and will accept cash, checks or money orders on the day of the class.
At the beginning of each class, you will need to show your Florida drivers license or other government issued ID, and complete a registration form and release.
